General

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the ABCO Appliance Company Pty Limited  ABN: 15 001 620 551 (referred to as "ABCO Appliance Spares" from here on in) website. By visiting the ABCO Appliance Spares website (www.shop.abco.com.au) you accept, and agree to, the content of these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with the Terms & Conditions herein you may not use this website.

We reserve the right to change the Terms & Conditions at any time without notice and it is your responsibility to check regularly before ordering.  These Terms & Conditions are applicable for all online purchases from the ABCO Appliance Spares website.

Terms of Contract

When you place an order through our website, we will treat that action as an offer to buy. Once the order is placed you will receive an e-mail confirmation and at this time we enter into a contract with you.

Product Specifications and Suitability

All care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of published product details, specifications and suitability information however ABCO Appliance Spares cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions.

ABCO Appliance Spares will not be held responsible for the accuracy of any advice given regarding the suitability (or otherwise) of any part(s) required for the repair of an appliance. If you have ordered a product that you deem to be unsuitable we will remedy this by providing you a suitable replacement product or a refund upon the return of the product subject to our Return & Refund Policy as outlined elsewhere under Terms & Conditions.

Manufacturer names are used for reference only. Products listed as genuine are original parts from the manufacturer and products listed as generic, universal, equal, equivalent or replacement are compatible alternatives.

We encourage that all parts are to be installed by a competent person in accordance with manufacturer specifications and warranty conditions. Manufacturer guarantees may be on condition that you use a qualified technician. ABCO Appliance Spares cannot be held liable for any damage and or additional costs caused by fitting a part.

All electrical, mechanical and heavy parts must be installed by appropriately qualified service people. ABCO Appliance Spares cannot be held liable for any damage and or additional costs caused by fitting a part.

Warranty

New parts used in domestic applications are covered by a parts only replacement warranty of 12 months from the original invoice date. New parts used in commercial applications are covered by a parts only replacement warranty of 3 months from the original invoice date.

The warranty period commences on the date of the original/initial invoice and is strictly limited (at our sole discretion) to a replacement or refund. To claim warranty please contact our Customer Service Department by phone or e-mail and clearly state the reason for your claim. We will assess the validity of your claim and respond within 5 working days.

ABCO Appliance Spares cannot be held liable for any loss of warranty, damage caused, labour costs, time delays or any other expenses associated with the supply or installation of any products/parts we sell.

Availability & Estimated Delivery Times

We do our best to ensure availability of all advertised products and to dispatch all orders within the quoted time. If you have ordered multiple products through several orders, they may arrive separately.

Occasionally we find ourselves having to withdraw products as they have become obsolete or been discontinued. If you have placed an order for a product which is obsolete or discontinued, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you an alternative if one is available. If no alternative is available, we will refund the money you have paid to us for the particular product.

Products out of stock will automatically be placed on backorder. To find out the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), please check by using the service available through our website or contact our Customer Service Department.

 

Payment

Online payment can be made via our secure check out pages using Visa or MasterCard. Charges will appear on your statement as "ABCO Appliance Co".

All product prices are quoted in Australian Dollars ($) and will specify if they include or exclude Goods and Services Tax (GST) at Australian rates.

Your debit / credit card payment will be taken at the point of check out. If any supply issues should occur and you would like to cancel your order, we will be happy to assist you in obtaining a refund by contacting our Customer Service Department.


Delivery Areas Charges & Times

Areas

We will deliver the product to your requested address, specified at the time of ordering, provided that address is within our delivery Areas.

Our current delivery areas are:

  •          New South Wales
  •          Victoria
  •          Queensland

 

For other delivery areas, please contact us prior to ordering to discuss Delivery options

Please be aware that we are unable to deliver to a PO Box address and require a street address (business or residential) for delivery.

If it is likely that no one will be at the place of delivery to sign for the order and you are happy for the package to be left unattended, please request so in the 'Shipping Address' section during checkout. We do not take responsibility for the safety of your delivery if you choose to have it left unattended.

 

Delivery Charges

A flat shipping charge of $16.50 including GST per package will be applicable for all deliveries undertaken by us.

Sydney Metropolitan Area

Orders placed through our website before 1:00pm (Sydney time) are dispatched the same   day and you should receive them within 1- 2 working days if you are within the Sydney Metropolitan Area. Orders received after this time may not be dispatched until the following working day.

All other areas

Orders placed through our website before 1:00pm (Sydney time) are dispatched the same day and you should receive them within 3-4 working days. Orders received after this time may not be dispatched until the following working day.

Orders are dispatched using our preferred carriers only.

 

Cancellations

Products may be cancelled at any time before they are dispatched. If the product has already been dispatched then please see below for our returns policy.

Return Policy

All requests to return a product(s) from an order/invoice must be within 14 days of the invoice date. Please notify us through the website, by phone or e-mail of your intention to return your product(s) within this time and we will advise whether it can be returned. Due to the volume of orders and stock we handle, only returns with a RMA (Return Merchandise Authority) number will be accepted for credit or replacement.

We are unable to accept the return of circuit boards or electronic components if the package has been opened. Please make sure that any such items ordered are in accordance with your requirements before ordering.

Electrical items will be accepted for return only if the product is unopened. All electrical items must be fitted by a person qualified to carry out the electrical repairs. Before a faulty electrical item that has been installed will be considered for return, we must be provided with an invoice or a copy of an electrical certificate of compliance from a properly qualified installer detailing the work that has been carried out and listing the parts replaced.

If you are requesting to return because you have ordered the wrong product(s), please return it in perfect, re-saleable condition (including product packaging, instructions etc.). You must not write anything on the product, its packaging or instructions. The customer will need to bare all postage, insurance & courier charges with regard to returning an item.

If you are requesting to return because you claim that the product delivered is faulty, not in accordance with your order or does not agree with the description or quantity of the goods invoiced, then you must advise us within 14 working days of the date of the invoice. If such a claim is proven, then we may rectify any fault, give a replacement product or refund the customer at our absolute discretion. In the event that the goods are required to be returned, we will advise the method of return at our expense.

Replacements will be issued only upon receipt of the product originally sold in stipulated conditions.

Refunds

Refunds will be made, at the absolute discretion of ABCO Appliance Spares, via the same payment method used at the time of making the purchase for authorised returns. Refunds will be processed within 5 working days of receiving the returned Items in good order. 

Liability

We will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, lost income, profits, economic or commercial losses and third parties claims.

We do our best to get all orders dispatched as quickly as possible. We have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered. You have the right to cancel delayed orders at any time prior to the product(s) being dispatched.

Privacy, Copyright & Disclaimer

We respect and appreciate your privacy. We will never sell or lend your details to any other organization without your consent. Your details are confidential and you will never receive unsolicited mail as a result of ordering from ABCO Appliance Spares. Any information requested from you, is so that we may better serve you.

We expect you to maintain the confidentiality of your username and password for your ABCO Appliance Spares online account.
